Equans is the leading provider of regeneration services in the UK - covering everything from community regeneration and refurbishment to repairs, maintenance and housing development. We're passionate about creating vibrant, efficient and sustainable communities, using integrated energy and services which make a real difference to people's lives.

Equans has been selected by Haringey Council to deliver their Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Retrofit Programme, which aims to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions across 289 homes in Haringey:
Coldfall Estate (N10) – approx. 215 terraced houses.
Tower Gardens North (N17) – approx. 74 Easiform concrete houses.

Funding and delivery for this project has been supported by SDF Wave 2.2 funding

Objectives:
Deliver whole-house retrofit using a fabric-first approach.
Reduce energy bills and carbon emissions.
Improve ventilation, eliminate condensation and mould risk.
Engage residents in design and finish choices.

Key Measures:
External Wall Insulation (EWI) with mineral wool and silicone render.
Low-level plinth insulation below DPC.
Loft insulation, extended eaves/verges, new fascias and soffits.
Replacement doors and windows (where required).
Improved ventilation systems.
Gutter and drainage reconfiguration.
Chimney repairs and new loft hatches.
