Haringey’s homes account for around half of the borough’s carbon footprint, which is why making them energy efficient is so important. The Retrofit for Haringey programme is part of the planned maintenance strategy, prioritising homes with an energy performance certificate (EPC) rating of D or below to support those most in need. Coldfall is the first retrofit project in the borough and works started in the first quarter of 2026 on the following streets: Barrenger Road, Coppetts Road, Everington Road, Hill Road, Marriott Road, and Steeds Road.These images show the character of the Coldfall estate and highlight the street environment that informed the retrofit designs.
